The Lonely One

If love was a bird it would fly away from me cause like everything it wishes to be free
Just like me I wish I could find love.
I've wished on every star above and tossed every coin into the sea, but I'm still lonely for someone like me
I wish I could believe that out there somewhere is someone for me to love
Someone to hug and keep me warm on the cold winter nights
There must be something I'm not doing right
When love sees me it runs with fright
Not a day in my life have I not wished that I could come home to someone to kiss
To have Someone tell me that I have been missed
But I must forget it
Love will never find me
I guess some people in this world are meant to be lonely
I guess that person is me
