The Loneliness of Planets

Dear planets of the galaxy
You which have supported life
And you which have not
But shortly will
According to your spiritual creation
Or your planetary prerogative
The power to enable life
In all its many forms
Planets, we honor you
And celebrate your future

And for the planets
Which have aged 
And no longer sustain life
A guardian angel remains
To watch over your spirit
And keep you company
To sustain you through
This period of your greatest loneliness
That you may abide the day
Until your great purpose is fulfilled

To all the dear planets
We love you.

Sand Blown June 19, 2020 at 3:05 AM ….there are very small sea creatures that live over 100 years...and microbes that can survive millenia…..our limited life- spans are nothing compared to the earths ….we are but fleas on a 'hermit' of space stan
