What a peaceful scene you paint with words. The "s" sounds at the beginning of each of the first two lines give the poem a rhythm that works well. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Karen

Sounds just like a scene I envision myself in some day... good Saturday to U, Highlander... my submission for Brian's contest is no reflection of my own duplex home but my landlord is quite a ditz so I thought this would be a humorous spin on the contest... thankxxx for your tender comments on my postings today... luv...
