The Lives of a Million People
I want you and your beautiful spirit
I want your fruitful bliss - I want all of it
I've never been so moved before you came around
But, my heart has been put into the lost and found
The nourishment of life
Has drowned out all the strife
The thought of you leaving me behind
Makes me think life is so unkind
The lives of a million people,
Driving through the lane of thought
The lives of a million people,
Driving through the lane of thought
The lives of a million people,
Thriving day to day productively
Longing to be free from captivity
Everyone's a winner in my eyes of honesty
Their tired eyes will rest
They will wake at the break of dawn
I'll try my very best
To belong in the arms of peace-abiding angels
The nourishment of life
Has drowned out all the strife
The lives of a million people,
Driving through the lane of thought
The lives of a million people,
Going through hardships with the strength they got
Dismay and chaos overwhelm me so
It reduces me to mere anxiety and woe
I can't go on...
I can't go on...
I can't move on...
Without you near my side forevermore
I swore you're the one that I adore
The lives of a million people,
Living their life in the fast lane
Living their life for the sake of gain
The lives of a million people,
Driving through the lane of thought
The lives of a million people,
Tired and worn-out by the wars they fought
Living their life,
Trying to remain sane
Peace and strife
Goes through our thought train
The trace of grace is upon your face
Trying to kéep pace in this life's race
Your support is a rose in the field of blessings
Everyone has their difficult upbringings
I was meant to live this life in glorious ray
I was meant to live life to the fullest day by day
But, I keep on thinking
My mind is rising and sinking
The lives of a million people,
Dricing through the lane of thought
The lives of a million people,
Working hard till they are as dead as a vacant lot
