The Little Things
Summer's hold begins to wane.
Fall approaches, the leaves fall way
The canopy above, ever so thin.
Allowing the sun to shine once again.
Winters breath is but a moment away
Falls beauty it grows
With each passing day
Birds joyfully sing with dawn's first light
Embracing they swoon,
Wondrous the sight
Like natures beauty, you bloom from within
You're heart so strong, remaining
true to the end
Never waining in your beliefs, for always being true
I pledge my life, my heart to you.
So embrace my love, reach out with both hands
Hold it abreast as long as you can
For a love so true, a life time some wait
Please fall in my arms, it's never too late
I will love you forever and treasure each day
For these gifts God has granted , I can never repay.
