The Limes of Life
Sometimes life sucks you dry
Sometimes the sun plays hide and seek,
but it cheats and hides outside where the clouds won't stop raining on you... soaking you to the bone
But sometimes you just have to suck it up
Sometimes the trustworthy lie,
Sometimes friends... just aren't there... sorry
Yep,
Life's hard,
Sometimes your lost and you lose
Sometimes people let you down, and they aren't careful about it.
They drop you.
But hey, bones heal.
Sometimes you wish you would stop being stupid and learn from yourself
Sometimes others hold you over a ledge, and you let them
Sometimes you wish you could take a step in the right direction, instead of being dragged by your ankles back to the start
But sometimes... you just make lemonade, even when life laughs and gives you limes.
