The Lighting of the Dawn
The darkness like India ink, envelopes the light.
The great dark space of night awaits in stillness,
for its call to illumination that becomes morning.
The black veil pulls at the edges of the heavens,
eager to explode onto the scene as the new day.
The lighting of the dawn will show all the world,
how the tiger becomes the house cat and the
monster becomes the mouse!
