The Lighthouse

I am a Lighthouse, proud and tall, ignoring all the waves. Inside the chambers of my soul is peace. I do not care how badly the stormy sea behaves, His songs of love and mercies never cease. My Keeper helps me daily, my Light is always on, my eyes have seen the glory of the resurrected Lord. In the darkest hour, right before the dawn, the mighty storm is silent at His majestic Word. I warn so many ships at sea of the great danger, I show the Light, the safety to the port, I guide them to The One born in a manger, to the Truth, the Way, the Life, the strongest Fort, I am a Lighthouse standing on the Rock of Ages, The Light for all that hopelessly roam, Hope in all the storm that rages, I safely lead the sailors to the Home.
