The Light Within
There is a light
it shines above me
It rests it's glow
upon my inner soul
and shining for all to see.
When I am good
that light within
it glows brightly an gleaming
My kind words exit streaming.
But when I am bad
it is an awful sight
It is when I fear the most
way late in the night
when it may out completely.
For that light
it shines from within
Gods love for me
he so graciously gives.
It shines outward
lovingly and completely
For my Lord to see me
it shines from his
Mercy right toward me.
