The Light of Love Shines

(To be sang to the tune of, " Maybe " from the
   Musical Annie -1982- )

Changes throughout life
Make people uneasy.
What's to become of tomorrow?
Is a question that's common, you see.
Global warming's here.
And Covid's claimed much lives.
Younger teens get caught up in
Some of the most henious crimes.

Nevertheless,
The light of love shines.
The bells of compassion
Swing, ring and chime.
Look, listen and see
How true love abounds.
It lifts the heart
To see goodness around.

So take lessons for life
From generosity.
Practice the art charity
Gladly.

And you'll notice how
The light of love shines.
The bells of compassion
Swing, ring and chime.
You'll be a reason
Why true abounds.
It lifts the heart
To spread kindness around.

Don't let evil triumph.
Do not let fear win.
Let your good qualities shine through
Brightly.
