The Light Leave Darkness Behind
The day moves by swiftly
the sun in the sky shines
warmth and brightness
before my eyes
moving to quickly day is too short
night follows quietly
soflty tip toeing behind
Light races by
to fast it seems
darkness follows
enveloping slowly
trendles like fingertips
encasing the earth in lights wake
the turtle beats the hair
darkness sees more then light
darkness moves slower
steadily, strong
opposites in everyway
light laps darkness
it's day once more
