The Life Race

You got my mind racin' My feelings chasin' this... Impossible cause and effect trail. I can't think. I can't speak. I can't get what I want. Someone will just take. This life race is going slow. But I know I will win... I am the only one in it. Don't teach me how to race, If I have a guarantee. 05/08/2017 (not my best)

This feels very lyrical to me Alex. I know you have one ballad, (a fave of mine), curious if you have written a song or aspire to:) There is a wonderful rhythm to this, the topic is fresh and I enjoy the upbeat attitude. It's so nice to read new poems from you. You keep writing and I will keep reading:)
