Notes About The Poem

Inspired by an article commemorating the 250th Anniversry of the birth of Wordsworth

The Life of a Poet

an abiding place

disposed
      to peace
                   light &
         shadow

a mountain
of majesty

a place
    to dream

      &
        contemplate

then
       recite

& write

My Aunt asked me where I write. For now it’s in my chair, in my mind, occasional glance outside. Can’t wait to get back to real life. Nicely done, Brian!
