The Life of a Cat

Cat sticks up her nose,
Parades puffed up,
Completely important

Aloof,
Haughty,
Unaware of anyone else.

She has needs of her own,
And they are all-important.
Groomed to be queen,

She
Is condescending,
and delectably cruel,
Tenderly ignoring her subjects

Prideful of the rabbit's remains
she lovingly decapitated a few
minutes ago and left on the door
step of her unknown barefoot
servant, who is about to scream.

Thank you, Line. I imagine that you, also, are ruled by a cat family. My cat, named Shark, was aptly named. He has a little kill room.

Ha ha I think you nailed it perfectly, Caren! Love kitties and cats for sure but they surely can be into and all about themselves. Meow! lol :) ~ Artsie xx

Thank you, Artsie. I am about to go to bed, but thought I had better post it before I forget that I wrote it. Your visits are so exceedingly welcome my friend!
