The Life of a Bullet
The Life of a Bullet
It is a slumbering coffin
There comfortably nestled in its darkest chamber
Dreaming of trigger happy
Reeking of gunpowder
All its intent to hammer and burnt projectile
Its song
A screeched whistle of
Real smoke lung
Explodes
Barreled out to flight
Its song
A wailing calamity
Of broken sound barriers
Until reaching the sickening
THUCK
Of its crescendo
The life of a bullet
Charges bolt
Crack demon of blood
Flesh to devour by velocity
The life target
Life ended
Eats its way all the way to the grave
And beyond
Its heart of cold deliverance to death
For a moment in heat
Dreaming of trigger happy
