The Life Changing Seasons

				The Life-Changing Seasons
Life is a staircase,
Problems will arise as we climb,
Challenges brought anew,
Time becomes a race
The steps don’t align,
Seasons change,
Seasons go,
Raging like a storm.

 A calmness stirs,
The wind blows,
The clouds glow,
Hits with a crack,
Next step sorrow,
The fear begins to grow,
All the horror shows,
Alone, thinking,
Only the inevitable -
Comes next.

 All of the beautiful things,
Waking in a field,
Reaching for a rose,
With eyes- wide -closed,
Wondering, as the wind blows,
Tumbling into the water,
The world goes black,
Then the next.

Frozen with fright,
Cold at last-
One more step,
That is all that is left.
1- 2- 3- 4
STEP!
Each season brings
about life’s great changes.
