The Life Changing Blood
Living through life with God to lead
looking for his counsel as you daily plead
to know his presence along life's pathway
this is life glorious from the fruit filled seed
But God sent his son Jesus my Lord
who shed his blood truly on Calvary's tree
there he died for sinners just like me
now I'm saved for eternity totally free
I am now changed from my past
the holy spirit indwells me to sanctify
removing my dirt cleansed in his blood
Jesus my saviour I will magnify
God gives his power for my change
indwelling me in righteousness divine
so with Christ within to show the world
this life changing blood is God's true sign
In summary, Christ's change is eternal
because his blood brings salvation
God's perfect gift to lost mankind
this is for my great justification
