The Lie

When the life gets hard and heavy
is when the dark thought pops in,
"the world would be a better place without you"
I recognize it for the LIE it is
and concentrate on getting through the day
one minute at a time,
thankful that I have friends and loved ones
to help me navigate around this lie
and a therapist to help me move forward
from it but I can now understand how it
happens, and how easy it would be to let
the darkness envelop me and take over

While staying positive is a 'secret' to longevity, here's something to ponder: The Sages discussed whether or not God should have created man. They finally decided that He should not have. However, since He did, we should examine or deeds. (Talmudic wisdom). Keep smiling, Gershon

Thanks, Gershon! I find myself smiling, even when life is hard, because life is indeed precious. I wish my son would realize that!

Some facts we wished our dad had told us ~ God dwells in our heart … thus He is the truth, immediate and intimate … we are made in His image, which is living light … He wishes that we, his child be as He, so He sends us here ~ to grow in love wisdom and power.
