The Lexi Contest Tree
In my garden there stands a tree
Its roots and leaves grow free
The changing seasons on you I see
Lord Jesus I believe
That you are a the creator of all things
But how sad was Satan’s sting
He had eves heart on a string
So entered into the garden sin
But God then sent His only son
A precious journey that has begun
To make his precious children one
And every battle for us He has won
There upon that hard cruel tree
My Jesus gave His life for me
As I bow on bended knee
I truly am set free
And now in heaven He will take His place
Let’s all pick up on the pace
The goal of this good hard race
Is to see His glorious face
