The Lesson of Your Clock

The brass hands of the clock, turn without
any effort around.

It just gets the job done, yet makes nary a
single sound.

It functions which indubitable grace and
ballet-movement ease.

For you see my friends, the fortunate clock,
does not exist to please!

Nice analogy, Panagiota. Sometimes a person needs to do the right thing, just because it's the right thing to do. Smiles ~ Blessing Bill

I guess this makes 'time' an existential crisis -- since everything is 'a crisis' these days. Smiles, Gershon

Heh-heh, Gershon! It seems that way! What do I know? I don’t like censorship, passionately! Raids on homes, cell phones being taken. STUIPIDO because, you do not need THE cell phone itself at all. Just a way our Nazi government operates raids…leg irons…cell phones…and worst of all phones-baloney propoganda. Every American, regardless of party, deserves truth! We are not pigs to be fed sloppy lies. Love you, The Pangie xx

Oh I like this! “ballet-movement ease” — you have transformed my clunky old clock into a graceful dancer with your poetic pen. Lovely write dear poet :) ps
