1st Place Contest Winner
A learner journey is never done,
For there are always needs to be won.
And the learner needs to repeat the lesson
But the soul of the learner always questions.
Learners wish success in the avid span of insight.
Reaching for stars, they let curiosity flow delight.
I feared taking my first step, but I had to prepare.
I fell, yet I rose to protect my image and bear.
With every stage, I improved my score.
My expertise and skills started to soar.
I met some pals and learned from each other.
And finally, I became a teacher and discover.
It's not always obvious to understand.
It may be swirls and turns beyond command.
I'm still learning, even as I reach incredibly high
Through wins and trials, that illuminates the sky.
