The Leaf

Too often we view nature from a distance and though the full picture brings us pleasure we seldom venture close enough to see that individual leaf that so fascinated us as children.

So true, Craig. The sentiment expressed reminded me of William Blake's : To see a World in a Grain of Sand And a Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour. It also took me back to the childhood joys of finding a pretty seashell or polished horse chestnut.
