John Loving Iii Poet ABC

The Law

the establishment
a body of government and police
the faces of justice but 
the bible tells what they are
vessels full of scum and tar
you fall into their skilfull trap
weaved just like a spiders web
then your stuck inside a computer
or kept inside a jail
till someone comes and pays the bail
your kept inside a cell

those greedy vampires
who are suppose to be the help
victimize the innocent people
with what they claim as guilt
they think theirs is Judgment Day
those lawyers, judges, and police
but Judgment Day is the day
when each judgment comes back to each
four fold the amount they stole
ten fold the time they gave
all to be paid in full
once they enter the grave

Patricia Contreras April 27, 2009 at 5:33 PM Wow this rang true. My son was accused of something he did not do It nearly distroyed his life. Even after the suposed victim told the truth that he had lied. My son was followed and pushed so hard he had a breakdown. You speak the truth for some. Good job. My thoughts are with you.

Sue Mason April 18, 2009 at 10:14 AM Another great write from you, John. You've got some misspelled words though ... Line #5 s/b "vessels" (only 2 "e's"). Second verse Line #3 s/b "victimize" (no "o") and finally ... smile ... Line #9 "amount" only has one "m". Hope you don't mind my playing english teacher here ... this is really wonderful writing but they count off around here for spelling ...
