Long ago I wrote this as part of a pretty lengthy script of sort of a rock opera, back in the days of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, that a friend of mine name of Paul
Flake and I had a double date with a very good friend of mine in Wichita, the date because of Paul's stuborness turned out to be a disasster, except we did attend a live performance of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in Wichita.   wrote this song and a few more and it was about a 70 page musical manuscript, but I gave it away when I left Western Kansas to a friend in Lyons, Kansas. More to this story. Anyway, the friend has left long ago, and if the world ever sees this script, it will be a real miracle. I wish I had it.  It was titled THE MASTER'S OF THE OCEANS, and the title song I still remember word for word, but the rest is lost forever I guess, except for this Haiku.

THE LAST WHALE HAIKU by Ron Wilson aka Vee Bdosa Down into the sea she will lay in wait, to see if tomorrow comes. Who has any care if the whale is dying there is there anyone? If she goes too deep pressure brings the endless sleep she has come undone. Her last sound would be like the cry that no one's heard, of the dodo bird. © ron wilson aka veebdosa the doylestown poet
