The Last Time
The last time I walked her home from school
I realized that I loved her
The last time we walked down the aisle
I realized that she was my bride
The last time we danced on our wedding night
I realized I would love her forever
The last time I carried her over our threshold
I realized we would share our home together
The last time we held our baby
I realized the gift of life my wife had given me
The last time I though of our marriage
I realized what a wonderful life we shared
The last time I held her hand
I realized she would soon go on ahead
The last time I looked into her eyes
I realized our love is eternal
The last time I kissed her lips
I realized that my heart was breaking
The last time she was here on earth
I realized that I would join her someday
The last time I thought of her
I realized how blessed I was to be in her world
