The Last Thing You Did

Don, my main man, i've known you almost all of my life you were a legend, an icon, a symbol you represented freedom and culture and expressed to the world what we were besides what they thought we were and you brought us music, that art that we all share and the people that made that music all number one hits from Elton John to James Brown if it could be called soul you brought it to us you were'nt outragious, outspoken or scandalous just a deep voice in a suit announcing the next song it's been a long ride on the Soul Train. you made history and i never ever heard of you doing one thing bad except the last thing you did

Smile ˜ Nice tribute to a precious life but the Lesson that I would be reminded of most amid this all would be that without, "GOD THE FATHER" * An ending of ones life such as this comes as no surprise ˜ Love, John!:) ˜
