The Last Punch

Hit, scream, pound, punch
Have I learned my lesson
 Have I had enough
I taste my blood
I writhe in pain
I made you mad
My fault again
You know the answers
You're always right
I'm wrong to doubt you
So let's not fight
Please settle down
We'll go to bed
I know you're so sorry
About the cut on my head
As you sleep I'll be awake
I've packed a bag, few things I'll take
I'll run from here Run from you.
Don't look you won't find me not ever its true
And then my life will start again.
I'll heal my soul . Meet new friends.
Fall in love. Be me again.
And you will be all alone.
Drunk and angry in once was home
I hope you change. Get the help that you need.
Cause you'll never again put your damn hands on me

Honey, I have been there. It took me years to finally leave. I left him; I left the state; I left with nothing but my kids.... I have now been with my wonderful, loving, soulmate for as long as i was with my ex. We are in love more every day than the day before. Someone is out there to treat you decent; but they won't be able to see you if you are surrounded by darkness. Love the poem. Strong. Bold. Motivating. Great job! Love, Jewlz. P.s..... New favorite.....
