The Last One

See how change marks lot
Feel the surge of thoughts
Frame new play and plot

Change now mimics mime
Bargain for more time
To voice your own rhymes

Change feels very strange
Yield the dying range
Embrace thus due change

Flesh and blood and tears
Change dilutes old fears
Blots the scary years

If you feel forlorn
Know with change re-born
New pain strips what's torn

Hurts scream change full blast
Pain lays plain the cast
Yes from first to last

Change a story tells
Just how your tale dwells
Of a broken spell

Change if change must be
The truth that you see
Bitter-sweet honey

Know the chronic feel
Classic urge reveal
Dying as change heals

The last one runs wild
Change is seldom mild
To adult and child

Change alters all things
In a constant fling
Ever becoming
