The Last Night

I'll hold you tighter tonight because this could be the last time that I will awake to find you here to touch your face and hold you near I'll stay awake and make the most of the time you are hear and laying close your touch, your smell, the warmth of your skin and hold my doubts deep within You stir from your slumber and brush my cheek but I know your touch is an act of sleep and that soon your body will follow your mind and be lost to me, impossible to find All too soon, Morning rears it's head and I am left alone no one to keep these feelings at bay the sheets entwine me but leave me cold
