The Last Mile of the Way

Though you run, you cannot hide, I know your heart and thoughts and I'll go where
er'e you go; no matter where it be...

I've payed the price that saved your soul and claimed you forever mine,
now continue the last mile of the way.

You may not understand when in your way a mountain rises or a cloud decends
upon you your soul, but my promise I've given you...

Every mountain I will move and every cloud I will bid depart,
now continue the last mile of the way.

You may take a detour along your journey below, you may fall and turn away but
know I have saved you...

I am your God and you are my Child, together we shall walk hand in hand,
now continue the last mile of the way.
