The Last Laugh
I laughed when I heard your voice on the telephone.
You questioned my happy mood...
I had told you I would survive without you.
Ah! Now you know!
Our conversation ended oh so polite...
We said good-bye on a high note,your laughter ringing;
I could see your smile
My heart is shedding invisible tears
