The Last Day of Spring
Sping is where it all begins
Before the universe came on the scene
Then shortly the summer appears
And drive out all the fear
The mornings were fresh and clean
And clean air from far and near
Floats gentle on the stream
And the ingredients from the sun
Soaked my flesh with its heavenly breath
And the pipes of sorrow quickly fade away
And the skies give birth to a brand new day
Run around the city and spread the news
Spring is running around without shoes
It is cleaning up the place before the next race
all the documents are signed
and the movers are on the line
it is the last day of spring, so look around
and behold the love that it brings
Winter has tossed you about
But spring has settled your sorrow
Summer will warm your heart and give
You another start.
It is the last day of Spring and a new chapter will begin.
Let the Spring go so that summer can grow
Hire new faces for the next chapter but keep
Those that can get the work done even when the
Heavens is courting with the sun and waxing moon is
Hiding behind the blue lagoon,
Spring has completed this chapter and it is time to cross over
It’s the last day of spring, let the journey begin.
