The Last Day of November

It's the last day of November
My most favorite month of year
The leaves have changed and fallen
And the skies are blue and clear
The time moved back an hour
We remembered Veterans Day
Filled our tummies on some Turkey
As we moved along the way
Birthdays, and anniversaries
Came and went to celebrate
Thank you Lord, that we're still living
And, as of yet, not met our fate
Jack frost is nipping at the air
It's the last full month of Fall
Tomorrow is December
And the final month of all
Autumn changes into Winter
Lights are lit for Christmas season
Gifts exchanged will make us happy
Baby Jesus is the reason
The year will then be ending
Twenty-one to twenty-two
Changing out the calendar
To face the year anew
To all my family and friends
I'm sending you some hugs and love
Be kind and good to everyone
God is watching from above
