The Last Dance
the piano notes
filled the night with magic
our hearts swaying as one
to the rhythm and the rhyme
nothing else existed
the night was ours
time no longer a factor in the equation
we had crossed into the realm of infinity
the cosmos ours to do with as we pleased
so we danced we danced we danced
