The Last Caress Before Passing

We have lived a life together through
Without regret we weathered it too
Any challenge which would come our way
It was you and me come what may

But now my love it’s time
To make these last hours shine
So kiss me in one last caress
For our years together have been blessed

Your tears will fall down I know too
But remember you made all my dreams come true
Walk on without regret my love
Reach for the stars as I watch from above.
