The Language of Love

"The Language of Love" prophecies in pulpits and stories of kindness for children before bedtime we were told of one who would arrive with his legions upon clouds; some say they look like us but what of the ones that do not the different gods is it then, that we are all the same, the colour of skin forgotten our futile wars, forgotten, all border walls knocked down, and we understand one language the language of love maybe maybe not forgotten the language of love (LadyLabyrinth / 2022) “Beware the bearers of false gifts and their broken promises. Primary video is NASA's "Golden Record". 116 images. You will note that the primary video I have uploaded into the body of the poem states, "Age Restricted". However, there are no images that are damaging to a child. Not sure why it is Age-restricted. It is history and relevant. Fascinating if you are able to access via YouTube login.

I'll park this one under "futile wars". A conversation, in parts. The generation taking us into the future. Leadership, or not, the conversation, fascinating, compelling, disconcerting? What comes from poetry? the feelings? the thoughts? the inspiration? the controversy? the challenge? the motivation...to love, foster romantic notions? it's not just black and white. The future of our world is compelling poetry, to me. And like poetry, metaphysics/metaphors/ conceits, the future is also highly complex, abstract, not just black and white. Dear Lady, It reminds me of the children's story of birds learning how to build nests: they have a meeting with the master builders (maybe bower birds, I've forgotten) for everyone to learn. But after each step one or another of the various kinds leaves having info only up to that point. So in the end, nobody knows the whole story. Elizabeth

You know Elizabeth, the best part of writing, is ... one comes up with a thought, and it all snowballs into a learning process from the creative socket that produces the poem/the story.
