The Language of a Bird

"A storm is coming"
A bird did say
Flew on it's way
To find shelter

No one took notice
For though we heard
The language of a bird
Who can understand it?

The storm came as foretold
Caught us unprepared
Rain drowned the air
Drenched us through and through

Love's Spirit still speaks, Daniel...sadly few hear in their hearts any more. An honor to read your verse. Congrats on your worthy first place. Agape, Moses
