The Landscape At the Distance

Occasionally in a yard, You were the focused scene Library, high wall, green tree and lawn included, As the spaceless view. I desired to shoot this landscape But the shutter of emotions Missed that very moment. In my heart, you became The blank film. I should have taken a photograph of it again However I lost its focal length. The changed landscape Far away Turned into A poetic distance.

Missed moments are oft born into sad regrets. In poetry and expressing imagery in verse such is maddening. As in when I wake at night but am just too tired to write the verses that have just came to me in my dream. Even next morn, most of the thread has been lost.. Superb poetry my friend- a fav..
