The Land Slide

I stared at you
far from the plains,
wondering at your stunning beauty
with blue and green shades.
by watching you closer,
my heart was beaming,
filled with admiration,
by your mighty majesty.

But Alas! one day,
you decided to put away your glory.
turning the charming smile,
into a thundering roar,
drifting down; chilling all.

Surprise it was,
hidden behind the soft,
blue and green vail,
it was thick black mud,
that poured out from you.
and once, the reality surfaced,
there was nothing, but
Emptiness surrounded you.
