The image is the "headwaters" that form our "river" and end up in the "sea" of humanity. This influence either pollutes or provides benefits.

Witness man's free will It happens in his spirit Which streams form his river "My breath makes him understand That he is not supreme." As the farmer irrigates Channeling the streams Likewise the unclean spirits In darkness man chooses his way Until the Lamp of the Lord Lights up his innermost parts "I am the Lord your God." He turns it wherever He wants Witness man's freed will
