The Lamb, the Lion and the Rock
I saw in a vision a man on a hill
His arms outstretched, standing so still.
I walked toward the man, but to my dismay
he only continued to get further away.
I started to run to make up the space
but I found it to be just a hopeless race
I halted my steps then turned to flee
and found the man was standing before me
I knelt on the ground and bowed down my head
because the man on the hill was no longer dead
He suddenly spoke in a voice that was kind
As long as you follow you will never be blind
Why was it Lord you stood further away?
As long as you follow I will show you the way
I will knock on your door but just for a time
but it there’s no answer then your fate is defined
I shall follow you Lord all the days of my life
praising your name to my children and wife
Tell all the world of this vision you see
Bring all my children back unto me.
One day I will come to gather my flock
For I am the Lamb the Lion and the Rock.
