The Lace Stairways

The Princess of Faeries
and the Faeries from Shadowfire
Began a stairway
Woven from gossamer thread

It grew and grew
Intricate designs
Woven through

The King of Earth
Turned gossamer in to lace
Lace to stone
Decorated every stairway face

Stairways wound their way
Around turret and spire
The rooms above
The rooms below
A marvel from Shadowfire

The stairway to the Hall
The greatest of them all
Woven through,
with love and joy
From Faeries too

Magic woven through
From gossamer to lace,
lace to stone
From stone to stairway
From stairway to our hearts
