the knife of friendship
They say you can't watch your back and another's
I tried, and trusted you, my friend, to see me through.
I turned my back to you, and you did the same,
But instead of guarding it, you brought me shame.
You were my companion, my friend, my guide,
You stabbed me in the back, with a traitor's might,
Leaving scars that never heal, and a pain that never fades
That was when I realized, that sometimes the pain we can't define,
Comes not from the knife , but from the hand that wields it
The knife used by you, my friend, my own,
Gave me in return a pain so intriguing, it leaves me forever overthrown.
Your sin, unforgiven, your betrayal, a stain,
A wound that never clears, a heart that remains in pain unbearable
