The Kissing Tree

The Kissing Tree Debbie Milner Deep in the forest, Down by the flowing waters, The tall tree stood… Arms stretched wide apart, Covered by balls of entanglement, Tightly wound on each arm, The pests entwined around. But under the old trunk, Two lovers stared out to the branches, with beauty in their eyes. To them, it would always be, The kissing tree – where, a first kiss had started, the growth of new beginnings.
