The Kiss Kills

The water drowns,
the skin bruises,
the eyes hide,
the kiss kills.
Weaving in and out
stitching myself up,
trying to fix myself
stitching the wounds left.
The scarring will last forever
yet you play victim,
I'm falling for us both
this is the only defense I'm left.
The fire burns,
the mind sleeps,
the veins bleeds,
the kiss kills.
