The Kiss
Once upon a summers night, the sweetness
of a simple smile caught the evening light
As the moonlight washed upon its bounty
the stars came out that special lovers night
Dancing a score among the autumn leaves
the restless breeze lamented its mistress
Then, with the trees bowing to honor her,
her smile lead him to a resounding “yes”
Rivers of sweet seduction flooded them,
only the night breeze was again alone
Two shadows moved together hearts a drum,
their separate smiles now becoming one
The next sun rose to find them together
Love held their two hearts as one forever
-The day I got engaged- 2004-
