The Kiss
The Kiss
By Elton Camp
The Hell’s Angel was roaring along a ridge
When he saw a woman at the edge of a bridge
She was peering at the water looking distraught
So to stop and try to help he thought he ought
“Hey lady, what in the world are you up to?”
“To commit suicide is what I intend to do.”
“To do something like that don’t be in any haste.
To lose a hot looking chick like you is a waste.”
“No, I’ve decided that I am going to end it all.
So let me jump, then the authorities go call.”
“Hold on a minute before you do the worst.
You might as well give me a little kiss first.”
So, she gave the biker a deep, lingering kiss
“You mustn’t kill yourself, he did insist!”
“Get on my bike and my old lady you’ll be.
There’s a whole lot in this wide world to see.”
“No, for it’s into this chasm I intend to hurl.
My parents don’t like me dressing like a girl.”
It was an entire day before he was seen again
Cops said, “It sure looks like he was pushed in.”
