The Kind of Poetry That I Like

I find the kind of poetry I like
Is poetry that makes you think
Churns your stomach round 
Wobbly in the knees
One that can't help but make you sigh
Brings a tear to a wanting eye 
In case you're curious 
I find all this a must

The poetry I adore 
Has you always wanting more
Keeps your head in wonder
Of what is next in store
Takes you to the edge
Shows you the view of there and back
Are you as surprised as I 
At the kind of poetry that I like

The kind of poetry that grabs ahold 
Makes it where you can't help but smile
Says all it has to say and more
With a sound that speaks out loud
Poetry that adds a tick to time
Clears the glitch inside your mind
Hope this brings it all to light
The kind of poetry that I like
