The Killer
"The Killer"
"What has happened here?",
the police officer asked!
"How did this man get to be that way?
The eyewitnesses say you're responsible!
For yourself, what do you have to say?"
"Mr. Officer, I will not even try to resist,
nor would I ever try to tell you a lie!
I accept full responsibility for this act of mine,
I had to do this and I have no alibi!"
"See, this man was posing an "unhappy threat!"
He was stealing smiles right off of people's faces!
This crime was robbing them of all good feelings!
He was not leaving any happy face traces!"
I asked him to "Please, cease and desist!
Can't you see what you are doing is wrong?"
He said "No one has ever given me a reason to smile,
that's why in my loot bag all these smiles belong!"
"What else could I do, Mr. Officer,
something had to be done and done fast!
I did what I had to do to put a stop to this,
now this crime spree is a thing of the past!"
"So I do confess that I did this thing!
Things are now back to how they should be!
I "killed him with kindness" he had never known!
He even stopped and kindly smiled back at me!"
Now that the crime spree is over,
he's running around giving back all the smiles!
All it took was a "Random, Senseless Act Of Kindness!
Now the public laughs and is rolling in the aisles!
"And so, Mr. Officer, take me in if you must!
I will do this act again and again!
I will be serial and "Kill With Kindness" forevermore,
for to do this is quite simply humane!"
