The Key
Your silence was loud, you didn't have to say your name,
Because I knew all these years it was you anyway,
I came forward intentionally so you could no longer hide,
I gave you access and let you study my life,
I allowed you to believe I ran away,
While I sat here patiently and held onto my faith,
I remained truthful to myself and watched as you tried to trick me,
But honestly what do I need to hide when I already know God is with me,
I gave you insight that I hoped you could use,
And after a while I just thought I didn't need to tell you that I knew it was you,
And as I opened the door wider so you could see more,
It intentionally changed your perspective ... remember, you gave me the key to the door,
